Risan Media is heading to Iceland from May 6-17th on a film project featuring climate impacts on glaciers, geothermal energy production and outdoor recreation in the West Fjords around Isafjordur. Risan Media will be joining Halfdan Agustsson and Tomas Johannesson from the Icelandic Meteorological Office to document their research on their annual glacier mass balance study on the Mýrdalsjökull ice cap on May 10th. Risan Media will also visit the Hellisheiði geothermal power plant and be filming splitboard mountaineering from sea to summit around Isafjordur.
